On the last week I booked a room (via Booking.com) in your hotel in Barcelona for a couple of days (on 8-10th of March) for business purposes (to participate the scientific medical event), but due to Coronavirus outbreak across Europe, the trip was completely cancelled by organizators. I pre-paid the whole sum of money for the room and the breakfast out of my pocket in advance. I called Booking.com to find out how I can reimburse my expenses, they told me that this option is up to the hotel’s manager decision.
Well, I sent the request to your hotel and received a very disapponted answer in an arrogant manner from the Front Desk employee: «Unfortunately due to the policy of the reservation (which is a non refundable rate: does not allow cancelations or modifications) that you have chosen at the moment of making the reservation is not possible to make a refund». The answer realy made me furious and angry. He did not even seee that I prepaid for the room and for the breakfast separatly!
Is it because of my fault? Is this cancellation because of my decision? Or may be by my mistake? Nope!
I am the victim of the situation and you are just trying to cash in on this situation. Deceivers and thieves, that’s who you are,
and I’m not going to leave you with it like that. I am still waiting for the answer from the manager (not from the front desk employee).
